Should you still go out with someone even if your parents dont approve?

okay heres the deal, i THINK im old enough to start being in a serious relationship [im in high school] im very mature and know right from wrong, ive been in relationships before but behind my parents backs because they dont approve of me dating yet. i dont think its fair though so im confussed. but ive finaly met someone who im very serious about, more than ever! i need to confront my parents but i dunno how, i cant risk getting into any more trouble.Should you still go out with someone even if your parents dont approve?
your parents have been around a lot longer than you have, you know wisdom comes w yrs. my parents don't aprove of me datin hun, and im way older than you, just cuz your in high school doesn't mean you know better. im 21 and my parents still don't apporve of datin, drinkin,...do i do it behind their back...course i do, but then here come the consequences of my actions...i date jerks...i date losers...i date guys who only think about themselves...i date the wrong guys in general...so what do i do...i don't bring any of them home by choice. if you feel that you are this ';mature'; person, you shouldn't be scared of havin a GROWN up converstation w your parents, if you are scared, well then theres your reason of why you shouldn't b datin...Should you still go out with someone even if your parents dont approve?

Your parents have a much better grasp on the situation. I would listen to them. You'll see why in the long run.
parents very rarely approve of anyone there children date. give it time. they will get to know each other better and then maby they will approve of him. if not then im sure they have there reasons. dont stop seeing him just because your parents dont like him. maby they just dont know him.
You have the right to be dating even if your parents don't approve. It's not like you broke the law, well maybe except your parents law , but it's legal.
i am in the same situation.my parents didnt approve of him but that didnt stop be for going out with him.I now have been going with the guy for two years now.I think that ur parents cannot chose who u love or who u go out with.

No. Obey your parents. Learn to obey your parents and authority when you are young and you will have a much better life. There hundreds of stories of people ruining their lives by going around authority. Authority is our protection. If we try to cheat authority bad things happen.
