My example is this:
I ask questions of a spiritual nature that sometimes lead to heated discussion and mean remarks from others. I don't usually take it personal though. One person emailed me and said , its not even someone I ever met before, but they said in the email '; if it gets to mean on here from the remarks , I have your back! '; I thought that was so nice of someone to say to me. That they were helping me in battle.
So what has someone said to you lately that made you smile?Did someone on Yahoo Q %26amp; A this week cause you to smile because they said something kind to you ?
Yes, gabeymac and bonsai bobby have both made me smile since yesterday. It wasn't even so much what they said specifically, just that they consider me their friend and sister in Christ (*blushes*)-- it's like having family you've never met, but knowing that one day you will. Like you said, we're in this ';battle'; together.
Hi Tamil--did you get my re-invite? LOL I accidentally deleted my entire ';Fans'; list last night! Had to delete and re-add everyone on my Contacts list! (*blushes again*)Did someone on Yahoo Q %26amp; A this week cause you to smile because they said something kind to you ?
Thank you, Light Warrior. My friends on here do mean a lot to me. As do those who don't believe in Jesus Christ--I'm here for them as well. Just trying to show Jesus' love and plant some seeds. God bless you.

Yep....I had someone say something nice too...it also made me smile.... They asked the most important question...have I asked for forgiveness for some things in my life..no one has asked me that and I thought that was really neat that someone was concerned about my spiritual well being.. the answer by the way was Yes I have and boy what a burden to be lifted of my shoulders!!!!
TTC just said that she missed me, and allizdwaG called me intelligent. I dropped out of school, have no formal education, and really haven't done much with my life. It really touched me that she would say that.
Yes. You have made me smile.
And we need to encourage one another. A thumbs up for good %26amp; correct answers, or sometimes just honest answers. For encouraging words for the asker.
To give a kind word or encouragement because of someones answer by sending an email is a good thing to do.
I was not aware that anyone on Yahoo Answers was in the business of making people smile. All I have ever gotten are nasty emails. None this week yet though, so that's a plus!
That was nice for sure to get emails like that from people you don't know. As for me, there are always, at least one, that makes me smile. People, when they use their hearts to talk instead of their brains, they can be so extremely sweet!
Well you did make me smile on here most recently. I came across a question about atheists stealing Christian girls, and the question and answers were ';not nice'; to say the least, but you stood up for Christians and women in general and that showed alot of respect, so I appreciated that.
Aside from that, yes there have been other people on here who have made me smile through their postings and personal emails. Some have really encouraged me and given me an awesome word just when I needed it. I'm thankful because God uses people in awesome ways like that.
Yes, it was YOU, when you expressed concern for my living conditions.
There are also about three ladies who have begun to share personal messages and delightful tidbits with me........
People used to gather and talk over the fenceposts and then the office water cooler and now the internet. Whatever the median it shows that people still need other people.
Nope; but the Emily Litella question about sax and violins was a classic moment.
';So what has someone said to you lately that made you smile?';

Someone said to me: ';You answer was the best. Thanks alot!';
That made me feel good.
Someone make me smile everyday on here.
I received an e-mail from a woman a couple of weeks ago who really reached out to me about something I had never even directly said on here. . . .the human heart and mind is an amazing thing and compassion is so wonderful to receive sometimes. =)
And, yes chicks dig Deke, even me and I am a Christian. =)
And, having Rachel on here. . .she always makes me giggle.
Now, I am all mushy. . .I love you guys and gals. =)
Well no one has called me a fag yet like they usually do once a week or month.
This establishment made me feel welcome, appreciative,
When they sent me a notice congratulating for a best answer and was granted 10 points.
I smile a lot because people on here make me laugh.
As for nice words...
A couple people on here (who happen to be Pagan) always make me smile because their hearts are so full of joy and acceptance of other beliefs.
I also received a very kind email from a Christian today, which is refreshing because a lot of times the Christians accuse me of being heretical.
This guy called me a clown on my last question. I laughed my explicative *** off.
Since many are here to write and are very insulting and mean, its nice when I too hear from someone telling me they are always there for me and encourage me to keep speaking truth about God. Also I have become close to a young girl in Africa, and we have become true pen pals. Its so neat to have her asking me for advise and wanting to know even more about God. And one lady that is very sick right now writes to thank me a lot for my encouragement. so much love on here and so much encouragement. and we must just dismiss the mean, as we know that they just dont KNOW yet, and we must press on , praying for them and continuing to speak truth. just as JEsus did. I have also had a few pastors write to me to encourage me to either go to school or begin at least speaking publicaly, as they so few will preach full truth anymore, withour fear or compromise. I am meeting wonderful folks on here, and I praise God for each one, even for the mean ones, as its an opportunity to lead them to God. ITs all good, plus it increases my own faith and joy.
God is good, all the time, God is good. amen
I recently had a Christian -- don't know that I would label her a fundie or not -- email me out of the blue, and tell me that she enjoyed my answers, and thought I was funny.
Many of my answers take shots at Christianity, in jest or not. I thought that was nice. I pictured her sitting at her computer, struggling whether or not to click ';send';. She never responded to me when I thanked her, so........
Of course, this just goes to prove my theory : chicks dig me.
