How do you deal while someone you care about is on the road?

Its been a bit less than a year since he started touring, and I feel like I'm becoming better at it? Yes, I do get to see him every few months, but its still hard. (We're not official) How do you deal with missing the person, with the fear of other girls/groupies? All of those things? I'd really appreciate the help....or even just someone I could talk to about all this who's either there/been there.

It is very hard when a friend leaves for an extended period of time and your gonna miss them. The way you can deal with this is by calling them texting or emailing. I know how it is to be away for awhile and then get a call or a text from a friend it means a lot and he probly misses you and want to hear from you just as much. And the thing about other girls and groupies is you two are not official like you said so you can't be afraid of them unless you make a commitment by becoming official How do you deal while someone you care about is on the road?
Hey, well first of all, if this guy is really the one and you care about him this much, then you should trust your heart. Do you think he would do anything wrong? If you do then maybe he's just not the right guy, but judging by the way your are so concerned, I'd say he's pretty important. My dad used to be on the road with his band all the time and when I asked my mom about it, she said she worried a little, but she trusted him and talked to him everyday to check in and she could just tell by his voice, that he was fine and nothing was wrong. eventually she ended up going on the road with him, which gave her personal supervision all the time, lol. So anyway, if he really is the guy you think he is, I'm sure it will be fine. Just talk to him everyday and hey, maybe you'll end up on the road too! Good Luck!
The biggest thing you need to understand that he is going to be sleeping with every girl he can at every stop... especially if you two aren't ';official';





You can either hate him and find a more stable guy or just accept that it's part of the relationship and realize that the love you two have is bigger than any groupie fling he'll have





Or you can really get into the lifestyle with him and share the groupies ;-)
